Hello and welcome to the Celebrant Coaching & Training Academy! I’m Dinah Liversidge (she/her), Founder and Chief Trainer at CCTA. As an experienced celebrant, I am incredibly passionate about our wonderful profession, and about training and supporting my fellow celebrants.
I took my first ceremony in 2009, so I know what it takes to create beautiful, bespoke ceremonies. And as a highly experienced trainer and coach I am here to pass this knowledge on to you with my specialist, customisable training programme.

Being a successful celebrant is going to be one of the great joys and privileges of your working life. You will bond and connect with people who have remarkable stories to celebrate and you will help them find the words. But to be truly remarkable, to deliver a service that is outstanding, you will need to constantly invest in your own training and development. And to thrive and prosper from this profession, you will need to develop an appreciation of your worth and the value you will add to your clients.
That is why the quality of your initial training is so important, and I would love to work with you to ensure you’re the best celebrant you can be.
The Path
to your celebrant career
Informed Decision Session
If you’re interested in finding out more about becoming a celebrant, I offer a 30-minute brainstorming session to review your options, explain more about my training and answer your questions. If you decide to work with me, I’ll refund your session fee.
Celebrant Training Courses
I offer bespoke one-to-one Wedding Celebrant and Funeral Celebrant training programmes for new celebrants. These consist of six one-hour sessions, plus assignments, assessments and my ongoing support over a period of six weeks.
Professional Development
Once you've trained, it's important to continually invest in your development. I offer regular CPD sessions and workshops for both new and experienced celebrants that cover a wide range of ceremony and business skills.
Refresh and Renew
If you've been working as a celebrant for a while and it feels like a lot has changed, then this course is for you. We'll complete a full review of your business, with loads of actionable ideas and a reconnection with your brand values.

Training as a Celebrant
why train with Dinah?
If you’re looking for training that takes a different approach, you’re in the right place. At the Celebrant Coaching & Training Academy, we feel strongly that your training should be as individual as you are.
That’s why we always work one-to-one, meaning you’ll work at your pace, in your style, and be free to ask as many questions as you need.
When training with CCTA:
You will work one-to-one with your chosen tutor.
The sessions will be adapted to suit your pace and training style (with the exception of pre-recorded sessions)
Your lessons and follow-ups will be in a format you’re comfortable with
Your sessions will be adapted to suit any needs you have. For example, we’ve had input from students, graduates and tutors who consider themselves neurodivergent, to make the training more accessible. And we’re always working on improving this.
